With a sensitivity of 120dB, the Spresense HDR camera board obtains clear images even in low-light conditions and situations with strong light contrasts.

The Spresense camera board features a Sony 5 Mpixel image sensor with an onboard encoder for pictures in JPEG, RAW, Y/C or RGB format. It connects directly to the main board through a dedicated parallel interface.

The Spresense LTE extension board adds LTE connectivity to the Spresense main board and carries an on-board antenna and a nanoSIM card holder. It also extends the interfaces of the Spresense main board with multiple mic inputs, headphone jack and microSD card slot.

The high precision Spresense GNSS add-on board is equipped with Sony's GNSS receiver CXD5610. The board supports dual-band positioning (L1 and L5) and the industry's lowest power consumption is achieved through proprietary high-frequency analog circuit technology and digital signal technology.

The Spresense extension board provides pin compatibility with selected Arduino shields along with an SD card slot, a headphone jack and multiple microphone pins.

iS110B is a Wi-Fi add-on board for Spresense. In compliance with IEEE802.11b / g / n (2.4GHz), it supports Wi-Fi Direct and WPS as well as access point mode and station mode. This product is already equipped with a chip antenna, so you can use it immediately.

The 'CommonSense' add-on board features accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, humidity and temperature sensor, pressure sensor, proximity sensor, air quality sensor, light sensor and microphone. This board is compatbible with the Edge Impulse machine learning platform.

This add-on adds Bluetooth LE communication function to Spresense. Built-in antenna, TELEC, FCC, CE, IC Radio Law certification has been acquired, so it can be used immediately as a wireless device combined with Spresense.

This sensor add-on provides acceleration, pressure and geomagnetism data which are indispensable for motion sensing. Additionally, it can as be extended with more than 7 sensor functions such as illuminance and proximity.

At the heart of the Spresense board, the Sony's CXD5602 microcontroller runs 6 ARM Cortex-M4F cores with a clock speed of up to 156MHz and has an integrated GPS. Thanks to the FD-SOI (Fully Depleted Silicon On Insulator) production process, the CXD5602 chip is very power efficient which enables battery dependent use cases.
