Student workshop on Spresense organized at The University of Manchester

More than 60 students joined a workshop organized by Sony’s Developer World team of engineers at The University of Manchester on October 14. The workshop focused on introducing students to Spresense, Sony’s high-performance microcontroller board. The engineers also presented demos and answered students’ questions related to possible ways of using Spresense in their research projects, which they can choose to develop during the current academic year.

The workshop is an activity part of Sony’s Sensing Solutions Collaboration University Program (SSUP). This also announces our new collaboration with the research team of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) at The University of Manchester, led by Professor Bruce Grieve.

SSUP is the university program launched by Sony Semiconductor Solutions Corporation (SSS) to build collaborations with university research groups around the world. It encourages and supports research projects with funding and hardware provided by Sony Semiconductor Solutions Corporation.
