Come see and try Spresense in Rome, Barcelona and Shenzhen

The Sony Developer Program team together with the Sony Semiconductor Solutions team will be at the Maker Faire in Rome (October 12-14), Maker Faire Shenzhen (October 12-14) and on the IoT Solutions World Congress in Barcelona (October 16-18) to showcase the broad versatility of Spresense.
The Spresense development board is created by Sony Semiconductor Solutions Corp and allows developers to build IoT projects using Sony’s multicore microcontroller CXD5602. The microcontroller features 6 ARM Cortex-M4F cores with clock speed up to 156 MHz. Spresense also has an integrated GPS and an advanced hi-res audio codec and amplifier which caters to a wide range of possible use cases.

Developers can either use the well-known Arduino IDE or the more advanced NuttX based Spresense SDK. The development board can be equipped with additional features required by each use case, such as BLE and sensor add-on boards as well as the Spresense camera board (pictured above). Along with the Spresense main board, there is a Spresense extension board available that makes the development board pin-compatible with selected Arduino shields.

There will be a range of demos on display and mini workshops to show how to equip and configure Spresense for different IoT use cases including robotics, time-lapse monitoring, edge AI, drone control, hi-res audio and more.
