AOSP Android 7.0 Nougat now added to Sony’s Open Device Program

You can now develop Android N ROMs for unlocked Xperia devices via Sony’s Open Device program. The recently released build guide gives developers the necessary instructions and tools to begin the development.
To get started, check out the Xperia device list to find out if your device is a part of our Open Device program. If it is, use our easy-to-follow build guide to get instructions on building AOSP and download the necessary software binaries. You can then create your test image, flash it onto your device and explore the Android N platform.
As usual, all resources available for the Open Device program can be accessed through our Open Devices page here on Developer World. Get started using the AOSP N platform by taking a look at the new build guide, device configurations and binaries. Open source is important for us and we welcome you to contact us, and give feedback on what resources you need and where can we improve.
On our AOSP List of Devices and Resources page, you’ll find links to all of Sony’s device configurations on the Sony Github. You’ll find everything you need on the AOSP for Xperia devices page.
