Announcing Spresense Hackathon at The University of Manchester

The University of Manchester in the UK invites its students from the Faculty of Science and Engineering to participate in a hackathon organized in collaboration with Sony’s Sensing Solution University collaboration Program (SSUP). The hackathon will take place on June 9th, between 09:30 and 19:00, and will challenge students to come up with exciting ideas for using Sony’s Spresense.

The contents will be divided into three main categories: 1) Creativity & Vision, 2) Innovation, and 3) Practical Solutions, and the specific theme of the hackathon will be revealed on Hackathon’s date. It will be broad enough to be inclusive and challenging, independent of the level of studies the participants have reached. The event will be based on teams of four students working together, although smaller teams and individuals are also encouraged to apply. Anyone interested may register here.

The University of Manchester is part of Sony’s SSUP, a program that offers real collaboration opportunities for a network of partners, from university labs to teaching facilities. It encourages and supports research projects in the area of sensing solutions and promotes innovation and education.
