Open Devices

For some of the Xperia™ devices, we provide Android™ Open Source Project (AOSP) device configurations on GitHub. This means that the software will be open for you as a developer to use and contribute to. This is a way for us to support the open Android community, and it is also a tool for us to facilitate and verify contributions to AOSP.

Supported devices and functionality

On this page, you can find information about Open Devices' supported devices and their current functionalities. This site provides specific binaries for running AOSP on Xperia devices- these may include chipset-specific hardware drivers. Below are links to both the code and binaries for each device.

On our GitHub repository you can find:

  • Device configurations for all Sony devices
  • AOSP (Android Open Source Project) build guides
  • Recovery mode key information for supported devices
