What can I do using the Camera Remote API?
You can create remote control applications using the Camera Remote API. You can also wirelessly access the following camera functionality:

- Access self-timer settings.

The API is agnostic, so you can develop for several different platforms, such as iOS and Android. This means you can develop apps for Sony’s Xperia™ smartphones, or other Wi-Fi® compatible smartphones and tablets.
Can I develop apps that run on Sony cameras?
It’s currently not possible to develop apps that run on cameras, but you can control a number of features remotely with the Camera Remote API.
